Are you in the process of planning a destination wedding? Do not forget your stations. And no, I'm referring to the winter, spring, summer and autumn. I mean fire, hurricane and tornado.

The recent fires in the western United States are a reminder that nature can sometimes take a nasty turn. But often, these "is ugly" are actually part of the predictable "stations" that if we understand them, we can help make decisions informed.

Let's look at some of these "stations" and how they might affect your wedding plans:

Fire Season:

The western United States (California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and Utah) have what is called a "fire season" is generally extends from late April to late October. Fueled by drought (as in the case of Arizona), low humidity, lighting strikes and winds, which can burn thousands of acres and threaten communities and resorts. What are some popular destinations may be affected by the fire season? June 2006 saw the evacuation of parts of the tourist town of Sedona, Arizona, including the area of Oak Creek Canyon, a popular spot for destination weddings. This fire also trapped visitors to the Grand Canyon, which were separated from other northern Arizona cities by road closures.

In the resort areas of Big Bear and Idyllwild in California are also destinations for those wishing to marry in the mountains of California. In recent years, both areas have been hardest hit during the season fire. Fire season also affects the Rocky Mountains in Colorado and the mountains around Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Hurricane / Cyclone Season:

The Atlantic hurricane season officially lasts from June 1 to November 30 and affect the southeastern United States Alabama Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia and parts of Texas (in addition to bringing rain rains and flooding to neighboring states). The Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean are also affected. The cyclone season in Australia extends from November to April. What popular destinations could be disrupted by the hurricanes? Myrtle Beach, South Carolina is a popular wedding destination, as are the beaches of Florida, Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean. If you are planning a quick escape from these areas is good for up to date news from the National Weather Service Hurricane National Hurricane Center Tropical Prediction Center http://www.nhc.noaa.gov. Globally, September is the busiest month and May is the month less active hurricane / cyclone activity, according to the Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory (AOML) (rel = "nofollow" href = "http://www.aoml.noaa.gov"> http://www.aoml.noaa.gov.)

Tornado season:

Tornado season is generally March through August, with 74% of all tornadoes occur between March 1 and July 31. Although tornadoes occur in many places, there are more frequently in the central part of America known as "Tornado Alley." Tornado Alley affects all of Oklahoma, Nebraska and Kansas, and parts of Texas, Arkansas, Iowa, Missouri, Colorado, South Dakota and Wyoming.

Save the seasons into account when planning your destination wedding. Of course, just because there is a season of these natural phenomena, does not mean your particular destination, will be affected. If you choose to have your wedding at one of these areas, however, is always a good idea to be informed of weather updates, and safety precautions to be taken in case of fire, flood, hurricane or tornado. Being prepared and informed can help prevent the best day of your life becomes a disaster.

Route 66 in November?

I left too late to organize this year's holiday. I am planning to travel on Route 66 from Chicago to Albuquerque in November - does anyone think that this too late in the year or if it be okay? We were in California, Arizona and Nevada, last October and was boiling hot in most places, so I hope the weather is not too horible in November! Thanks for any advice.

The weather should be pretty good. Albuquerque gets very cold in the fall. So the higher elevations, so bring warm clothes and check the weather channel every night for the area to travel through the next day. You do not want to get caught in a surprise snowstorm. Route 66 can be difficult to follow in some states, I made a lot of it. You need a good guide or map to follow, is not very marked in many places. It's a bit boring in New Mexico, which runs on the interstate highway and heads in each city allows you to reduce your street main and back again at the end of the city.

Pac-10 Fans?

I do not want to hit the PAC-10, but can anyone tell me another team that has won an NCAA title, in addition to USC in the last 10-15 years? I pull in Arizona and hope his show continues to grow, and what man could hate the Oregon State Beavers? The Pac-10 has some good teams. I hate computers California over the Pac-10 itself. I had a high school teammate who played at UCLA and said teams had more passion in the south that CALI. equipment. NCAA Football in our blood are raised here. So with that said the state has the best football of Florida (Florida, Florida State, Miami), or California (USC, at UCLA, CAL,) plus we had the National Champs in high school during the last 3 years (Lakeland Dreadnaughts)

If you forgot Mike Huskies championships, and another and eat at the Pac-10. In the other two, PAC-10 but worth mentioning. San Diego State (always classified in schools as part less), Fresno State pulled a little discomfort in his day.

arizona government jobs

College Grad – find entry level job or an MBA?

I just quit my first job out of college with a degree in marketing (a week later my whole team was fired) and now its time to find a new job. What should I do before it was promised - phone sales - 55k a year with the sign A10K the bond, which became "Oh, Do you have to earn 10k, where only 3% actually do not. "It turns out that you make about 25k a year with a 90-95% quit or the relationship of fire after 6 months .... I only stayed a few months so you can guess what I did .... so here I am, I'm in Arizona I need to find a job, any suggestions? Whereas also get an MBA, and driving this whole job search for the next .. Parents are suggesting a federal government job, that sounds boring to me .... some suggestions?

If the job market is healthy where you are, then see what kind of job opportunities you can find. If the market is bad, then it might be a good time to get an MBA. It will be ready when the economy picks up a backup. These phone sales jobs are known for eating its young, as you have described. What we got caught in that net. Now get some experience that can show progressive growth in responsibilities and a certain success would be in your best interest, in my opinion. That kind of positive experience will help greatly in an MBA program, too. Furthermore, it is getting easier and easier to find college graduates, but just out of school, require much work by the manager, so adding the experience soon give a long term advantage. You can help in the work of "federal government" the idea - do not know specifically what it means. CIA agent could be fun, clerk can be boring. Good luck!
