arizona jobs in education

I can not get a job in Tucson, Arizona! I'm a registered nurse 20 years.?
Looks like I'm well qualified for non-nursing positions, for certain low-skilled or nursing posts at health facilities. I have resumes and applications in all hospitals in Tucson. Could it be that I took 18 months off to continue their education? I have (as any nurse does) many transferable skill sets. What about this? I need job! Any suggestions? Thanks!
Have you thought about joining a registry? I work with a very well here in Phoenix, and what I like is when I want to work I find work, if not want to work I'm not being bothered with calls to work, etc. In addition, I work full time in a center banner here for several years, and I make more than 10 more per hour in the register, so it is worth looking into!
